I worked at Dr. Yaari’s laboratory for the summer, and it was an amazing opportunity for me. With the help of a student-mentor from the lab, I learned how to conduct experiments and analyze data. Because it was my first time working in a professional laboratory, it could’ve been intimidating, but the members of the laboratory were nothing but welcoming. They took me under their wing and taught me how to conduct research, helping me prepare for my future.
